Amongst the exhibits on show is the desk in Elgar's study which was laid
out by his daughter, Carice. Also exhibits includes books, photographs
and programmes as well as manuscripts and scores.

Elgar's cottage was originally called "The Firs" later renamed "Rose
Cottage". Although Elgar lived here for less than three years, he
told his daughter, shortly before his death, that he wanted the cottage
preserved as a memorial. Worcester City Council purchased it in 1935. |
